History

A few years ago, I noticed most of our clients could be lumped into one of the following categories:

Frustrated with existing accounting software
Paying way too much for accounting software and not using most of the programs capabilities.
Falling behind in their record keeping and Business Activity Statements (BAS) due to the fact that they didn’t know how to use their programs.

For many small businesses, they don’t need great accounting programs that come with everything including the kitchen sink. In a lot of cases, all they need is something SIMPLE! Something that’s cheap, only comes with what they need and is easy to use.

To that end, I set about developing a simple accounting program that filled that need. With the experience I had gained from working in the accounting industry, and with my ideas of how to make accounting simple, I started developing SimCash Accounting & Invoicing ©.

For the past six years I have been doing the book work for our small business. I have tried a few different programs, the last one being e-record, which I still had problems with, also as a result of these problems, I had to visit my accountant more frequently, incurring higher fees.

CPBMAC introduced me to SimCash Accounting & Invoicing © and spent about half an hour taking me through the basics. I don’t think I have needed to see them since. Perhaps a few phone calls here and there.

I highly recommend this program to Businesses as it is simple to use, it does all the work for you and you don’t need a University degree to understand it, like some of the programs on the market today. The other special feature I like is if you make a mistake filling in details, it will let you know, so you just go back over the data you just entered and do it again until it’s correct. It also adds up your GST, personal expenditure, BAS and gives you a profit & loss statement, staff wages and so many other features. SimCash Accounting© is not too costly, and it’s also a tax deduction.
